Infrastructure
The concept of material handling is as old as the mankind itself - beginning from the times man started moving stones to barricade his place from flowing rainwater and erecting roof over his head. Soon he started inventing and innovating – making and using ropes, levers , pulley, wheels, etc. Over the centuries, he developed newer methods and systems depending on his habitat, needs, climate etc.
Today material handling forms a very important and integral part of industrial operations and its impact can be seen in all the areas of industrial activity – raw material procurement, storage, processing, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution.
Material Handling has gained such an importance because it represents 25% to 75% of operating costs, 40% - 50% of production time and safety of both material and human resources.
Thus the deployment of an efficient and effective material handling system is not considered as an expenditure today but as a key profit centre since it makes the operations safer and reduces the time spent on moving the materials.
Thus Expert Equipments have come a long way to provide an efficient solutions to existing problems faced in industries.
